Background

Xiaorun Xu graduated from Pratt Institute, School of Architecture in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and is currently completing her Master of Arts at Christie's Education, majoring in Modern and Contemporary Art and the Market. 

She has worked as an architect intern for the past year at the Oideion Studios. She was involved in a non-profit dog shelter renovation project in 2017 in Beijing, China, aimed to help more than a hundred rescued dogs and cats. 

 

Her transdisciplinary background prepares her with the skill set to tackle the aspects of architecture, art criticism, and the art market in an integrated way. She is specialized in curation in the context of art criticism and architectural space. She is also skilled at addressing social challenges with architectural language, visual representation, and in-depth research and analysis on topics from current events to critical theories in the 19th century.
